Over the past eight years, I've dedicated my efforts to a Water Project aimed at providing clean water access to communities worldwide. Remarkably, women and children cover an average of 6 kilometers daily to reach water sources, often encountering contamination and waterborne diseases.

This year, in celebration of my 44th birthday, I aspire to raise $4,444 for a Water Well, with the overall target set at $7,000. I am confident in our collective ability to achieve this goal. To symbolize this endeavor, I'll be embarking on a challenging 44-mile run over 44 hours, translating to running 4 miles every 4 hours for a continuous 44-hour period. Sponsorships are available at various levels: Ultra Sponsorships at $444, Marathon Sponsorships at $200, Half-Marathon Sponsorships at $100, 10K Sponsorships at $44, and 5K Sponsorships at $20. I am actively seeking 11 Corporate Sponsors (ranging from $444 to $100), 44 10K Sponsors, and 100 5K Sponsors.

As an educator at Frontenac High School in Kansas, teaching Technology Education to grades 7-12, I emphasize utilizing resources to bring about positive change in the lives of others. Every class leverages acquired knowledge to initiate tangible transformations in their immediate surroundings. Our Foundations of Technology class, for instance, is actively engaged in an engineering project addressing the global water crisis. They are contributing to our fundraising efforts by selling shirts and pledging to run alongside me in March 2024. Imagine the impact of our school building a well for a school in Africa—a school supporting another school!
