Don't you just love this picture? One child caring for another and getting refreshed! I guess because I see this often in my home, I'm touched. My 6 year old twins proudly tout their baby sister around on their hips, search for her sippy cup and offer her a drink. My 8 year old fills up a water bottle for her little brother in the middle of a blistering game of army spy in our backyard. It's precious the way kids look out for one another and meet their needs. We're all blessed to live where we do, and probably take for granted having clean water.

As a follower of Christ, I’m challenged to be the hands and feet of Jesus in all I do, so this year, I am running the Titusville Racing Series with the Hydrating Humanity Team to bring clean water to communities in Kenya. My friend Lydia Loyd, a young mom and runner, has single- handedly spear headed efforts through race sponsorship, school coin drives and change jars, that over 5 wells have been installed in Kenya! I think that is so admirable. Please join me in supporting this life-giving organization that builds wells. We will be running in 6 races October through May. Our team's goal is $3500, which is the cost to put in 1 well. Please support however you can. Every little bit helps! Business sponsorships of $100 or greater will receive their name on the back of our race shirt.
