As some of you may know, I recently embarked on a new career path. The change was sudden and unexpected and there were many times when I wondered whether I was doing the "right" thing... BUT...those brief moments were always answered by some kind of spontaneous, spiritual, even "magical," sign of validation that I was on the path I should be. The ability to help improve the lives of others through this effort with Hydrating Humanity is but one example and I'm thrilled that it's one that I can share with you.

"Hydrating Humanity is a faith-based non-profit organization that works primarily in East Africa partnering with local people to provide access to clean water and education to reach an entire generation and bring effective, sustainable change. Education and mentoring are a big part of what (they) do. Water is only the tip of the spear."

Each year, inadequate access to safe drinking water and improper sanitation cause an estimated 1.9 million deaths in developing countries.....MOSTLY AMONG YOUNG CHILDREN.

My target is to raise $6,000 (yes, that's a lot!!!) to fund a well that will be placed near a school in Kenya. I realize that there are many worthy causes and this one may or may not speak to you. I simply ask that you share this page with your friends and family so that those who are so inclined can contribute. No amount is too small!

Many thanks to Surace-Smith for extending this opportunity! What are the possibilities?

All the best,
Daneene
